Layers of colour. Layers of calm.
Stencilling is one of those techniques that immediately makes you feel like you know what you’re doing, because you do. This workshop uses layered stencils and acrylic paints to create bird and nature-themed designs that are detailed, colourful and completely your own.
Out in nature first
We start with a gentle guided walk to spot local birds and wildlife. Livvy points out what to look for and how to identify what you’re seeing, skills you can take home and use on your own. Binoculars available to share.
Venue note: walk and workshop locations confirmed on booking. Livvy has recommended venues across Bristol and Gloucestershire.
Then we layer up
Using a curated set of bird and nature stencils, acrylic paints and paint pens, you’ll build up layered designs across a 2.5 to 3 hour session. Livvy guides you through each step, and there are lots of existing stencil designs to work with, so you’re never starting from a blank canvas.
You’ll finish with between 6 and 12 small designs. Stencilling is quicker than you’d think, and you’ll find your rhythm fast.
